Look of the day "Aloha summer"

After creating yesterday's look for the outfit 'Blue Crush', all I could think of was; Hawaii! As a kid it was the first name that popped up whenever I thought of a tropical place. 
Since there is no way I'll be going there soon, why not bring that tropical summer feeling home? I can definetly use some colour and tropical infusion to cheer up my mood, because summer is obviously afraid to show itself.

{Blue Crush}

Unfortunately the Euro 2012 ended for us yesterday. I wish all the remaining teams succes and will be watching the matches. I'm sorry for the others that are on their way home. Today I wish I could wear this outfit and dream myself on a tropical island, wouldn't that be great! Totally in love with these slippers from ASOS and this perfect lime-yellow top from H&M trend! And this amazing Jimmy Choo clutch remind me of the movie Blue Crush, wouldn't it be great enjoying the sunshine and ride some waves in Hawaii! Hmm... maybe it's time I start planning my holiday ;-)

Look of the day "Never give up"

Tonight is the last night that the Dutch team will play in the groupphase of the Euro 2012. After having lost the first two matches I still have hope when they play against Portugal tonight. Although the chance is extremely small, where would we all be if we would give up already and not hope for a miracle! So tonight I'll be supporting them again. The fact that I love football doesn't mean I can't be fashionable while supporting!

{Dutch pride Doutzen x Vogue China}

After the devastating match from yesterday against Germany, lost with 2-1, there is still Topmodel Doutzen Kroes to count on, as our proud Dutch export product! I came across this amazing summer swimsuit editorial from the Chinese Vogue, shot by photographer Sølve Sundsbø. These pictures say more then words, isn't she amazing? Congratulations to the German team as well as the Portugese for their victory yesterday. I wish all other teams good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for Spain tonight ;-).

{Dutch manicure - Euro 2012}

Unfortunately we lost our first match with 0-1 against Denmark. Tonight the Dutch team will play their second match against Germany, it's a classic one. I really hope our guys will play at their best and bring us victory. So when we'll applaud them, orange coloured nails are not to be missed on our hands! 

Below my own orange nailpolishes that I'll be wearing during this tournament. Not only is this the 'It'-colour this season, it's a warm and happy colour as well, really moodlifting. In my opinion everybody needs a touch of orange to brighten up their day! So come on, make sure your nails are coloured orange and support the Dutch team! To all the other teams and supporters, I also wish you all good luck and enjoy the tournament! Yesterday was special to me because I was in Warsaw and could see the beautifull stadion from my hotel. Everywhere were big screens and football fans walking around after the game ended in a tie between Poland and Russia. It was special to see and experience this!
